Wallet Setup
Learn how to fund and manage your Dark Matter Market wallet securely. The wallet accepts Monero (XMR) ā the market's primary payment method.
Funding Your Wallet
- Navigate to your wallet page
- Generate a deposit address (an XMR address, starting with 4 or 8)
- Send Monero (XMR) to the address from your own wallet ā see the Monero Guide for how to choose a wallet, acquire XMR, and send it
- Wait for confirmations (the deposit clears after 10 confirmations, usually ~20 minutes)
Withdrawing Funds
- Navigate to the withdrawal page in your account wallet
- Paste your own external Monero wallet's receiving address ā not an exchange deposit address that requires a separate memo or payment ID (exchange withdrawals need extra care; a personal wallet address is simpler)
- Verify the address character by character before confirming ā Monero withdrawals are irreversible once submitted
- Review the minimum withdrawal amount and network fee shown on the page at withdrawal time
- Confirm the withdrawal and wait for it to process
Tip: A wrong withdrawal address cannot be undone ā the same rule as sending XMR to a deposit address. Double-check before you confirm.
